Oh wait. I forgot. Inspiration: Livejounal!
It has been nearly a couple of days since my second visit to the city of Merlion. It was a mesmerizing weekend! Obviously. How can it not be awesome right? Afterall, it was a special day on a special month with that special someone. Best part was to celebrate with the world! Yup, Earth Hour was coincidentally on my day! So its even better! Right. Before I keep saying how awesome my day is, it didn't help much with much pessimism a week before it all took place. A lil skeptical, worried, anguish and nonchalant has wiped out the anticipation in looking forward for an awesome day even though, yes, its a day to celebrate. I dont turn Double.2 every year now, do I? Nevertheless, the anticipated call was never made and I was totally swept off the moment I step into his room! Needless to say, I was taken by surprise with the lil gesture where its the thought that counts. Everything else is secondary. Thank you sweetie! =)
To add to it, sadly, I have to say that this trip will be the last (for now!) given that after the trip to East, it will take a while to be back here once again. Its undecided on when or even what's going to be next. So, Im savouring the moments as these are hard to come by; once my leaving takes place for a solid month or two. True enough, we're never apart as it doesnt exist between us but sometimes, reality is cruelty. As Shah would say: Prepare for the worst, hope for the best!
So yea, Im doing my very best and mind you, it takes two to tango!
While the man's busy at work, I've kept myself company with Eclipse. Once again, I find solace within it given that it's the second time reading. It never tires me out reading it all over again as how Edward was ever so protective of Bella, and at the same time, compromising with her every needs as to see her happy as she's all that he has of her. Just done reading it and on with Breaking Dawn! =)
Earlier on, I've came across this post by Michelle. Somehow, she loves to write about her working time with Louis and it always entertain me much! As much as I dislike his crude sense of humor, but its also what I loved about him. He just shows it in a different way between us. Nonetheless, I still love him for who he is! Oh yes, before getting carried away, the joke!
Forgot how it started in the first place, but it all begins with Michelle indefinitely. As she's Indian, Shah's been giving her names and such, which resulted among one of them that includes Blackie. Did I mentioned she was Indian? Yup, so due to the skin coloured, it rub off immediately with Louis and the rest. My guess would be it was unintentional but it's fun making fun of others especially with Michelle. She's such a magnet for such fun. Anyway, it involves a Green Banana this time. So, she was to buy bananas on her way to work. Usually, we picked greenish -yellow bananas as in not too ripe and not over ripe! Just nice! The minute Louis saw those bananas, the racist joke started. Somehow, anything related to Michelle is bound to be racist. He commented on those bananas being too green and it was not even Hari Raya! See! Still LMAO as Im relishing what I've read. It was surreal like I was there while the conversation took place. Just that it would be so much fun if I DID actually. Michelle was totally taken aback that it didnt crossed her mind that even GREEN BANANAS are subjected to racist remarks in my assumption. Not long after during that day, somehow the bananas turn yellow and being Michelle, she couldn't just not savour her moment of triumphant and had to prove to Louis that he was wrong. Not a good choice I presume as Louis interjected her by saying its because Hari Raya was only for a day!
Here's goes the conversation.
the very shocking joke from louis
supposed to do this a long time ago. this happened 2 Fridays ago when i was working morning with him. If i am not wrong. F.Y.I it's just a joke.
I bought a banana from cold storage and it was uber green because the current one we have is really like a leopard. So this was what he said:
Louis: Such a green banana? It's not Hari Raya you know
Michelle: *looks shocked. WHATTT? I didn't know you were THAT rasict
Louis: I am not targeting you for once.
Later in the day when i was about to go for break it turned yellow. the really bright one and i told him.
Michelle: See! Luckily i bought a green one because it is so ripe now!
Louis: you want to know why?
Michelle: why?
Louis: because Hari Raya is for a day only.

Hahahahahahahaha! This is hilarious to me as I remembered that one time during our shifts which involves the three of us (while I was still a traineed then) about a milk cloth incident. Well, technically it was Michelle and Louis as I was just an audience and yet I couldn't help laughing out loud! Due to memory lapse, I dont quite recall those details of the whole scenario but it's funny alright! He's my Mr Funnyman now! =)
p/s: Happy April Fool's day..!
