the long awaited day =)

Its the Brash Basah post! Long story. =)

You might wonder, what's up with this particular MRT station. To be honest, I dont even know the reason myself. Perhaps, it can be classified as 'love at first sight'. It was back in 2008 where I spotted this station on my favourite bus (190) ride to work everyday. Given that I was still a 'tourist' then, I couldnt help but wonder out loud. "Just one of those many MRT stations? But it looks deserted." Plus, it wasnt the usual MRT stations of any colours (red, purple, red) that I know of. Ever since then, passing by Bras Basah leaves me pondering most of the time.

Not until a year later only the Circle Line was announced officially. So, that was what Bras Basah was all about. One of those MRT stations on Circle Line (yellow line). =) Oh jolly good. I cant wait to actually 'pay a visit' to the familiar yet unfamiliar MRT station. I do find myself weird sometimes. Afterall, its just A STATION right? Well, not everyone's normal, are they?

So, just like any 3-year old kid who's excited to go on a trip (e.g zoo), the boyfriend and I made our way to Bras Basah through Dhoby Ghaut Interchange and voila! We're actually there! What else right? Picture time! =) As seen above, there's this REALLY long escalator heading up towards the exit point. Compared to the one at ION shopping mall, you're looking at the winner here!

Cant help but gaze in awe for a moment and decided to have myself snapped riding through it. How awesome can that be?! Very!

Thanks sweetie for keeping your promise! At least its one done, 3 to go? Or was it 4? See! You've got so many promises made to me! Huggles~ It was such an exciting day! That place was a lil too quiet. Seems to me like a museum! Nevertheless, it's all worth it by just having you with me. Too bad the exit was not where I thought we would end up at. Maybe next time? =)
